Testing out the new bird feeder that I assembled today. It hasn't really been working so far, but I think that may be the dogs fault!
Anyway I got a few of this little guy in the back garden, in some lovely spring light.

Lovely piece!
I really like the depth of field and how shallow it is, as it makes the bird stand out more. The way the colours complement each other in the background is fantastic because it really makes the atmosphere more interesting, you know? Not to mention the setting and stuff.
I do feel as if you could increase the contrast and darken it a bit more, perhaps... mainly because of the bird and how there isn't as much depth there as there could be.
The execution is great, regardless, and I like how close you've gotten, although you've left enough room for us to breathe, which is fantastic...
